05/2023- Scion Helicopters is excited to partner with Scion Aviation LLC and

Toray Composites America

to utilize TORAYCA (TM) Carbon Fiber Prepreg (Toray FM6673G-11M Plain Weave 6K) for our Vixen SH-410 Helicopter Airframes.   Toray materials provide superior strength and performance while lightweighting the components. Toray Carbon Fiber Prepregs have allowed us to create consistent, strong, lightweight structural components to allow for maximum payload capability and extended flight time.  Scion Aviation LLC will be manufacturing autoclave cured, hand and CNC trimmed, composite components. Scion Helicopters will provide sub-assembled kit components to our customers, to be fully assembled by bonding and riveting into a complete composite helicopter airframe in a 51% Build scenario.
